AI Done Right

AI Done Right

AI is powerful, exciting, and here to stay—but if we’re not careful, it can strip away the very thing that makes our work unique: our voice, our humanity, our ideas. “AI done right” isn’t about replacing us—it’s about enhancing us. That’s why my formula is simple: AI + AI—Artificial Intelligence plus Actual Intelligence.

Why AI Alone Isn’t Enough

AI can draft, plan, summarise, analyse, and even surprise us. But let’s be honest—on its own, it’s bland. It can produce endless “content” that looks fine on the surface but feels hollow once you scratch it. Anyone with a browser and five minutes can churn out generic blogs, posts, and even books. That doesn’t set you apart. That makes you invisible.

What cuts through the noise is you—your story, your experiences, your humour, your hard-won lessons. The sparkle in your words that no algorithm can replicate. That’s why AI done right is never about pressing a button and calling it a day. It’s about weaving your voice into the work so it can’t be mistaken for anyone else’s.

The Formula: AI + AI

Here’s how I see it. Alone, artificial intelligence is a tool. Alone, actual intelligence—your brain, creativity, and insights—can only stretch so far. But when you combine them, magic happens.

  • AI speeds up the grunt work—research, outlines, drafts.
  • You add the voice, the colour, the perspective only you can bring.
  • Together, the result is work that’s both efficient and authentic.

This is the heart of my philosophy: AI + AI = Real Intelligence. It’s about amplifying what you already have, not replacing it.

Do I Use AI? Hell Yeah.

People sometimes ask me, “But Simon, do you actually use AI yourself?” My answer: hell yeah. I’ve used it to plan, brainstorm, and co-create much of the material you’re reading now. But here’s the key—I never hand over the keys. I make sure my voice, my perspective, and my stories are always front and centre.

That’s the difference between blind, bland content anyone can generate and meaningful, magnetic work that connects with your audience.

From Philosophy to Practice

This idea isn’t just theory. It’s become the backbone of my upcoming projects—each designed to help entrepreneurs, authors, and solopreneurs embrace AI without losing themselves in the process.

  • AI for Authors — a book and programme that shows writers how to use AI as a sidekick (never the star) to draft, edit, and publish while keeping their unique voice intact.
  • AI Done Right — my new book diving deeper into this philosophy of combining artificial and actual intelligence, with practical frameworks to apply it in your business and creative work.
  • Robopreneur — a membership and community built around AI-powered entrepreneurship, giving you the tools and training to work smarter, faster, and more creatively without losing your human edge.

Each of these projects has been shaped by this belief: that AI is not the enemy of creativity or individuality, but its amplifier—if we use it right.

The Human Connection Still Matters

At the end of the day, business is human. Connection is human. Trust is human. No amount of clever prompting or sophisticated algorithms can replace the way someone feels when they read something that really sounds like you. That’s what creates loyalty, community, and impact.

So yes, embrace AI. Use it boldly. But never let it drown out your voice. AI done right enhances you. Done wrong, it erases you.

Final Thought

As we move into a future powered by AI, remember: your edge isn’t the tech, it’s the touch. AI will get smarter every day, but it will never be you. And that’s exactly what the world needs—you, amplified.
